Under the Oak
I began to write. I wrote more than I ever had. I wrote to remember the way I was feeling so I wouldn’t forget. I wrote so I could reflect back on what my life looked like. I put my words on paper to release my feelings so I could feel more. Each word I put on paper made the weight a little lighter.
Writing became my way to express and release my thoughts and feelings. It’s a tool I used for healing and a way to secretly share my thoughts and secrets with the pages of a journal. It’s been my way to let go, express and tell my story.
